Hill Country Retreat

Simplicity, spaciousness and outdoor living were the primary design goals for this country retreat set in a grove of live oak trees near Brenham, Texas. Modest in size yet with a generous and gracious presence, it was inspired by local building traditions in form, color and detail. The house embodies an openness of planning that well suits today's styles of living while maintaining a relationship with neighboring buildings more than a century old.
