Spirited Tradition

 

For this new home, our clients wanted to make the most of the building potential on their standard size urban lot while recalling the traditional Federal Style of their native Pennsylvania. The two-and one- half story design is larger inside than it appears from the outside. Above the ground level's more formal, specially detailed living spaces is a second level family room off the bedrooms; the third level is a game room with star-gazing windows. The garage, appropriate to the neighborhood's residential scale and character, will house four cars in the space of two through the use of hydraulic lifts.
