NEW GENERATION
Originally an urban bungalow, this house had been redone most recently by its previous owner, for whom privacy was apparently not an issue. The master bedroom was a second floor loft with no door, open to living spaces below. Now the new owners not only needed privacy, but also more bedroom space for a growing family. This addition-renovation concentrates new space on two floors at the front of the house.
