When the owners of this vintage house moved to this expansive multi-lot wooded property, their detached garage was remote from the house. That garage went by the wayside when its lot was sold and developed. While serving the Owners’ need for a new attached garage, Morningside Architects also created a welcoming new entry to the house, developed a new outdoor kitchen for both poolside entertaining and everyday family meals, and provided a readily accessible play court. On the front of the house, a new porte cochere with craftsman style columns makes a fresh prairie-inspired image to welcome guests.
